A big thank-you to Fukumoto Fitness in Winnipeg, Manitoba for initiating their 6th annual “Burpees 4 Romania” fundraiser with the goal of reaching $35,000. Last year, this community of health and fitness friends raised almost $30,000 which contributed to much of our whole summer program AND a potential land purchase (which is still in process btw!). Presently, there are over 100 people participating from this community and we are so grateful for the commitment and participation from so many! The event includes a May 8th group burpee event where many of the burpees will be completed. The campaign ends May 31.
