Volunteer Retreat Team(s)
• Semi-yearly trips for 10 days in February and July
• Approximate cost is $2,800/person, to be raised through personal and team fundraising efforts
• All participants are required to commit in advance to all team training meetings (at least 2 half-days in the months leading up to the trip)
The purpose of these trips is to provide a concentrated time of teaching, training, and development for the Pas Cu Pas young adult volunteers, while continuing to build on their existing community of healing and growth through small and large-group sharing and study times. This team seeks to intentionally train and support Pas Cu Pas in their ongoing ministry to Romanian orphans and the needy, participating in Impact Romania’s ultimate goal to develop and disciple Romanian orphans to grown in character and influence in our world.
This team is highly suited to those individuals who have been to Romania before and to those with a heart and talent for pastoring and teaching.
Dental Team
The purpose of this trip is to provide a dental clinic for institutionalized children who would normally have minimal access to dental care. This clinic is an important means of meeting an immediate physical need of orphans, while contributing to Impact Romania’s ultimate goal to disciple and develop Romanian orphans to grow in character and influence in our world.
This team is open to trained dental professionals as well as any interested persons looking to serve a non-medical role on the team.
NOTE: The Romanian government has imposed a moratorium on the practice of health and medicine by non-citizens in the country. Unfortunately, the dental mission is on hold until further notice.
