The May team spent last weekend away at a “mini-camp” with children (ages 8-10 years old) from group homes. Reports are that things went really smoothly and the team did a fantastic job running games, crafts and other activities with the children. During a feedback discussion, the kids focused on support and encouragement using a slack-line as the experiential component. There were lots of tears (from team members and kids) as everyone said good-bye on Sunday, evidence of positive impact, lasting memories, and deep connections.

This week the team has been in Beclean, staying at an orphanage and visiting different ministry sites nearby. Monday they spent time at a seniors home and a hospital. On Tuesday, the team travelled to an orphanage and group home. The cool and rainy weather hasn’t put a damper on this team’s energy & enthusiasm.
