We just saw the kids off after four wonderful days of camp discovery out here at somesul rece. For those without the pleasure of being here with us, let us tell you a bit about what we’ve been up to out here!

Our mornings have been filled with songs, stories, creative activities, team building, and getting to know ourselves (and others). Afternoons were for wide games – whether hunting down impossible photo ops, searching for “Waldu” (the Romanian Waldo of course), bouncing on trampolines and inflatable castles during “carnaval”, or getting soaked (aka soaking others) in a monumental water bonanza… highlights abounded. By evening we were “smuggling bibles” (a crowd favorite), throwing around “ALL the balls”, “evolving” up the food chain, and of course roasting marshmallows and singing songs around the campfire. Even temperatures above 30 degrees couldn’t stop us!

Were thrilled to be a part of offering such an experience of learning and love to the 40 kids we spent these four days with, and were really hopeful that the themes we explored each day (who am I / recognizing emotions / attitude: the one thing we can control / find one thing you’re good at) will translate to these next days (and years) of everyday experience for these kids.

Hi to all of our moms!

Jenilee (on behalf of the team)
